Princess Cruises has been recognized as the Best Cruise Line for Service Excellence in the 2015 Travel Weekly Asia Reader’s Choice Awards. The awards are voted on by Travel Weekly Asia’s readers, who are expert travel professionals in Asia-Pacific region.

The annual Travel Weekly Asia Reader’s Choice Awards acknowledges and honors the “best of the best” in the travel industry, and professionals who excelled during the past year. First published in 2002, Travel Weekly Asia continues to be the resource that industry professionals turn to for the latest market intelligence focused on the Asia-Pacific region.

Princess Cruises continues to invest in the future of cruise travel in several Asia markets, including China, Japan, Singapore, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Korea. Later in this November, Sapphire Princess will move to Singapore to start her 2015 homeport season to serve guests from Southeast Asia and around the world. In 2016, three ships will sail in the region, with Golden Princess joining Sapphire Princess to serve the China and Taiwan market, while and Diamond Princess serves Japan and Singapore market.

Known as “Princess Class”, the line’s tailored premium cruising experience for Chinese guests offers a customized services and an onboard experience designed to enrich the travel experience of each cruise guest, delivered with exacting attention to detail by the ship’s professional and caring crew. Guests can participate in unique cultural, culinary, entertaining, and inspiring programs including the World Leaders Dinner, Princess Chocolate Journeys, Lobster Grill, Discovery Stargazing at Sea, English Afternoon Tea, The Sanctuary, Karaoke Experience, and unparalleled luxury brand duty-free shopping.

In order to serve the Japanese guests, Diamond Princess added Izumi Japanese baths – the largest of its kind at sea – as well as a Kai Sushi restaurant. Dining room menus offer international Princess cuisine with additional offerings to cater to Japanese tastes. Other amenities such as spa treatments and shore excursions have also been tailored to Japanese preferences, and onboard collateral items and stateroom information have been translated into Japanese.

To better serve Singapore and Southeast Asia guests, both Sapphire Princess and Diamond Princess have included multi-lingual crew members in key guest-facing positions in her homeport season from Singapore. Dining room menus have added the local food along with the line’s international offering. Specially designed enrichment programs and other amenities such as the shopping selection and spa treatments have also been tailored and featured to local preferences.
